     Greeting other people
                      I walked by some people today and as I did, I gave a curtious nod and a smile. Some would do it back, some would ignore it and keep going. Every couple of people would smile back and add a "Hello" or "How's it going?" to the nod. Once or twice, the person would stop me and have a chat for a few minutes. I even got myself a couple of e-mails from them and parted as friends.
                     Chivalry is not dead. If a simple young girl like me could show some good manners towards other people, you can do the same just as easily. Just simply nodding to another person with a warm smile could bring some positive feedback. Who knows. Maybe you can make a new friend or two just for acknowlaging someone's existance. Next time you go out somewhere, just nod and smile. Throw in a "hello" if you want. You'd be suprised how much positive energy comes back to you.
